Background- I am a Ph.D. in Biological Sciences (2022) and MS in Environmental Oceanography (2017) by the Federal University of Espírito Santo - Brazil. Also, received my B.Sc. in Biology Sciences from the Catholic University of Salvador (Brazil; 2013).
- My current project aims to understand the impacts that climate change causes in the estuarine ecology under multiple lines of evidence; as benthic assemblages and their ecosystem functions/services, as well as mangroves carbon stocks and fluxes. My academic background involves ecosystem ecology, population ecology, bioinvasion ecology, conservation, animal behavior, functional ecology, statistical techniques, and data management. Furthermore, I participated and was a leader of many teamwork expeditions and their logistics in lakes, estuaries, rocky reefs, and shallow continental shelf. email = luiz.e.o.gomes [at] gmail.com |
